VEPOWER Limited is now supplying Jatropha curcas saplings to growers around the World.

Our nursery in the South of France cultivates young trees from seed stock of known provenance. The seed is taken from long established plantations where the genetics are known to be strong. No intensive breeding has occurred and the seed has high oil yield potential.

We cultivate using organic principles on land not previously used for food production. This means no synthetic fertilizer or pesticide is employed, only natural compost and repellents. Only the minimum irrigation is used to produce strong and hardy stock.

The first batch of saplings of 3 months are to be supplied around the end of September 2010, dry root by air freight, packed in cases of 20, 50 or 100 (we recommend 12 cases of 100 saplings per hectare [5 x 100/acre]).

Smaller consignments are priced from $100.00 (USD) per 20 with discounts for bulk purchases. Price is valid until December 31, 2010. Shipping is charged at cost. Shipping will commence in September 2010. All pricing and sales are subject to contract and availability.
